A New Year

I took this picture on New Year's Eve morning in Kure Beach, North Carolina.  I was without my laptop and sports for three days (although I always have my iPhone and iPod Touch, which are almost like having a laptop).  Normally, I can't stand not to have Internet access on a computer, but it was surprisingly relaxing and liberating.  (Except that I kept getting emails from work on my iPhone!!)  Without the laptop and the Internet, I had time to reflect.
Most of us think of the changes we want to make as each new year begins.  Some people ridicule that idea.
I'm one who determines to make changes, and I usually succeed.  And this picture will be my reminder--a new beginning, moving forward, learning more, finishing the unfinished.
