Okay, I'll admit; I stole that title from the Penguins, but I hope they won't mind since I'm such a dedicated fan.
The evolution to which I am referring is all the great stuff happening at Landstown High School. Teachers are embracing 21st Century Learning, and the students are excited. The teachers are excited, too.
Many teachers are using wikis, Animoto, Voice Thread, and private social networks. Learning is collaborative and creative. Learning is reflecting real life situations.
Erik just found a cool site last week called slideroll. I like it much better than Slideshare, and I'm going to use it when I have a need for it. I hope you will, too.
If you are doing cool stuff with web 2.0 tools and would like to share so that others may get ideas, please reply to this post, and tell us about it. After all, web 2.0 is all about collaboration.
If you still aren't sure what Web 2.0 means, watch this brief video from YouTube. And then watch the animation below that I created of Web 2.0 tools--just for fun. (Yes, I'm addicted to Animoto. I just think it's cool. Like, who thinks up this stuff?)
Even if you don't find the animation below informative, you can at least dance to the techno music for a little stress relief.
