More iMovie Fun

"It never snows in Virginia Beach."
How many times have I said that? I can't say it any longer. Last January (2010), we received over ten inches of snow.

The end of the year has been even more surprising. We already had one snow day before Christmas--it NEVER snows in December!!

THEN . . . the big one hit the day after Christmas. We have over a FOOT of snow!!

I am blessed to live between the Atlantic Ocean and First Landing State Park, so I ventured out into the snow yesterday afternoon to shoot some pictures and video. The wind at the ocean was brutal. I am positive the wind chill was below zero. (I grew up in Ohio, so I know these things.)

The park is amazing. I felt as if I were in Narnia. If I didn't hate to be cold, I would just go sit there to admire the beauty.
