This is in a reponse to @rmbyne, who requested on his fantastic blog that I participate in the Seven Things Meme (thanks, Richard; that was cool of you, and I'm very impressed with the archery thing), which means that I need to list seven things that people in my PLN probably don't know about me.
Since I don't often talk about myself, (and I'm perfectionist) it has taken me three days to finally finish this simple assignment. So here are my seven things.
1. I would rather receive tickets to an MLB, NHL, or NFL game, especially involving the Pirates, Penguins, or Steelers, than ANY jewelry, including diamonds (which I think are boring), or flowers (which make me sneeze).
2. I grew up in a village of fewer than 450 people in Southeastern Ohio (Senecaville). Very rural. Very sheltered.
3. I double majored in physical education and English.
4. I am trying to finish a master's degree online in Instructional Design and Technology, but I'm so afraid of failure (even though I have a 4.0) that I am paralyzed with fear and have not worked on it for months.
5. I love to ride my bike through the mud in First Landing State Park, especially after a tropical storm. (I slid into a mud puddle once. Kinda fun, actually.)
6. I taught English for 19 years, and then decided to become a Computer Resource Specialist so that I would have more time and opportunity to help teachers integrate technology.
7. My nephew (13 for another month) and I have a goal to visit all 30 Major League ballparks.
Now I would like to see these people participate:
@vbcacrs
@hlvanrip
@griffbuddy
@mimiller
@smartinez
@elemenous
@durff
Don't think any of you have done it, but my apologies if you have and I didn't notice.
This is fun.
