THIS is really, really cool. I found this free web-based presentation app while reading another blog by a teacher in a rural school district in Maine (BRRRR!). I have a link to his blog on the left of this page, Free Technology for Teachers. It rocks. He finds awesome stuff. More evidence that a blog is a great tool.
Anyway, to get to the main point. The app is called Sliderocket. It's beta (which means it's a test and might have bugs), but it looks so cool. Those of you who are iWork users will see familiarity in it. You can add flash, videos, pictures, all kinds of stuff that you would not expect from a web-based app--especially a FREE one! If you click here, you will find some pretty cool demos that have educational value.
