Obviously, a blog should never take the place of direct contact with parents, but having a blog or website that parents can easily access helps them to keep up with what's happening in your class, and provides them with the opportunity to ask your students about what you have assigned.
The corrected version of "Every Teacher Should Have a Blog." There was a glaring punctuation error in the first version.
