Pinnacle Notes

Please remember to refer to this information that Erik sent Monday. It's really important that you don't take the section number out of the class names in Pinnacle.

• If you change the class name in Pinnacle, leave the section number in the name. (This allows Data Ops to help you.)
  • If you do not, Data Ops will not be able to help you as efficiently as they might otherwise if you have an issue that they must address.
  • This is the suggested format: A/B day and block_term_section_description_teacher choice
  • Example: A2_YR-LA1130-802-ENGLISH 9
• Do not enter any grades or absences prior to the first day of school (if you are experimenting with grades, for example).
• If you delete an assignment, you must first delete all of the grades for that assignment.

For those who were unable to attend the Sharepoint Refresher this morning, I have converted my presentation to a PowerPoint show and put it in I:\Teachers\Sharepoint. The only problem is that things like the fire and sparkly stuff didn't convert.

Besides the effects, the only thing that you'll miss with this presentation is my brilliant comments.
